Would anyone be willing to hire a 15-year-old freelance writer?

Not for money or anything, but I would like to know if anyone out there at all would consider commissioning a freelance writer who happens to be a minor, if they are up to such a company's standards. Not for money or anything- just some credit attributed to me to enhance my portfolio early.

Right now it seems like a daunting task, especially because it seems so hard to find a freelancing job at all, let alone for someone who's underage.

Does anyone know anything on this subject?

If all you want is credit write an article and submit it to freearticles.com, submit-free-article.com, articlegeek.com, easyarticles.com, they all accept articles and give you credit. You can search the web for several others too.

Also pick subjects your interested in and look for speciality teen magazines that frequently run those articles and subit them.

Also if your school has a school newpaper then join the staff.

Can you check with your local newspaper and see if they have an intern program?

Your lack of experience,your age,and short network will effect you alot.

A lot of people like experienced, well knowledge writers in this field.

you still young.be patient, and try learn new skills in this field. try to  attend seminars, workshops,and short class.

alot of them are available in community colleges, community centers, ..etc
