I was once 16 and I am 4'11 at age 22 and I get plenty of dates, then and now, so you should be fine.

And no, you aren't a legal midget - 4'9 is the cut-off for women and 5'1 for men.  I found this out because I really wanted to apply for a scholarship from the Little People of America foundation.

Yea some guys don't care about height. Most guys don't as long as your not taller than them. Most guys would prefer having a short girl anyways because it will make them feel more manly. lol

There is someone for everyone.  Dwarves (waaaay under 4'10) marry normal sized people all the time.  For heaven's sake I know a guy in a wheelchair and all burnt up doesn't even have anything but scars for a face and he married and has 4 kids.  So if your only problem is being a bit short.. it is really no problem.

a midget, at the age of 16 you have at least 5 more years

of growth and could easily be over 5 feet tall by then.

But it makes little or no difference what your height may

classify you, as far as that is concerned.

As far as your question :

Certainly! Most certainly a 16 year old of 4'10" should be

able to get dates! Whether you are male or female.

MIght be slightly easier for females as they are thought

of as 'cute' when they are so petite.

But I have known many 'vertically challenged' men & women

who not only dated quite extensively, but also married and

had wonderful families with partners that were much taller

than themselves.

At 16 would I date someone 4'10"? YES! I would and have!

I am 5'4" and have dated several men who were of your height.

Bottom line....when you are with someone whose company &

personality you enjoy, height is of no consequence.

On the other side of that coin...my closest woman friend is

6'1" in her stocking feet. She has NEVER dated a guy taller

than herself. Not that she wouldn't, they just never have any

interest in her. Most really tall guys prefer tiny, petite women

who stand about d**k high, if you get my drift.

She has two children and the TALLEST guy she ever dated or

had a long-term relationship with was 5'10".

My point is, there is someone for everyone. Those who won't

have you, don't deserve you. In the end it's all about personality

and confidence.

Strut your stuff like you're ten feet tall and people will always

'look-up' to you!
