The Saudis are boycotting American goods. We should return the favor.

An interesting thought is to boycott their GAS.

These companies import Middle Eastern oil:

Shell........................... 205,742,000 barrels

Chevron/Texaco......... 144,332,000 barrels

Exxon /Mobil............... 130,082,000 barrels

Marathon/Speedway... 117,740,000 barrels

Amoco............................62,231,... barrels

CITGO gas is from South America, from a Dictator who hates Americans. If you do the math at $30/barrel, these imports amount to over $18 BILLION! (oil is now $90 - $100 a barrel

Here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil:

Sunoco..................0 barrels

Conoco..................0 barrels

Sinclair.................0 barrels

B P/Phillips............0 barrels

Hess.......................0 barrels

ARC0....................0 barrels

All of this information is available from the Department of Energy

  1. Learn to levitate.  Boycott cars, not just oil.

  2. Yes we should not buy their gas. They have gauged us enough now!!! They also have very poor human rights policys.

  3. We have enough crude in Alaska to last a hundred years, but the tree huggers prevent us from using it, so we HAVE to buy elsewhere.

  4. Yeah, OK, let's eliminate half our gas supply so we can drive the price even higher.

  5. It would be interesting to find out how many barrels the other companies that the US does not import from , produces and how much they do import to the US and what cost compared to the middle east companies.

    Good question.

  6. It would be interesting to see what would happen, especially if you look at that amount of crude oil those companies import.  It might change how things are done in the US if there is less gas available.  Everyone would probably have to be prepared for the cost of gas to increase considerably.  A boycott is an interesting concept, but often has more consequences than at first anticipated unless it is carefully planned.
