Would anyone know how NASA is funded?

I am doing research and need to know about how NASA is funded as their equipment are very expensive. Thanks for any answers in advance!

NASA is funded by Congress each year.  NASA's budget represents ~0.6% of entire US budget each year.  During the Apollo era, NASA's budget was ~3.0% of the US budget.  DoD's share of the US budget is ~20%.

They get a yearly buget from the U.S. goverment.

They use less than one percent of the US Government budget. This funds not only high profile space missions like Phoenix and the Shuttle, but a heck of a lot of research into weather systems and aero-engineering. Remember what the acronym NASA stands for!
