Spent 6 years as a US Navy submariner so sure, I would like to go in one again.  When and where?

Not me, never.  I love sailboats but have a fear of water and being under water ... weird I know.

I toured the WW II German submarine, U-505, in Chicago. At that time, I thought I could never be a submariner. It was small, cramped, and confining. And those men then stayed in that vessel for 30 to 60 days at a time. There was no shortage of volunteers for the job either. All sub service was manned by volunteers. On TV, I saw a modern sub. What a difference. The current subs have rec rooms, dining rooms, and are large enough to go jogging in if that's what one wants to do. So yeah, I'd spend time in the modern sub. It's like being in a large building with no windows. You could forget you're under water.

I took a submarine ride in Hawaii in the tourist type.  It didn't go too deep but it was truly a sub nonetheless.  There is definitely a different feeling knowing that the water is so far above your head.  We looked at staged stuff under the water like a sunken boat for a fish reef and an airplane also there for a reef.  I would go again in a second if they still have them there.

Yes but not tourist clap-trap hulls that operate out of North

Marianas or some Arabian resort.  Have visited factory

that makes same class of submersible and trains operator

personnel.  Its equipment is good enough to replace glass

bottom boats but I'd rather not share same coffin prospects.

A better submersible would be one owned & maintained by

this individual.
