I will certainly miss his columns. I didn't know that he continued "Firing Line" until 1999. My local People's Broadcast Syndicate station had dropped him years before that. He should have called it "Firing Squad" because of the way he shot liberals to peices! I loved how he would start listing in his chair the more he was getting on top in the debate!

Mr. Buckley gave me a different view of conservatives and the Republican party, which ultimately caused me to change my political alliance and join the party.

His wit and wisdom will be sorely missed.
