  1. I think it would be awesome to run below 4 mintues personally. But it has been done already by a lot of people. Sir Roger Bannister was the first person to ever break the 4 minute mile back on May 6th 1954. He ran 3:59.4. Now the world record is 3:43.13 by Hicham El Guerrouj set July 7th 1999 in Rome. There is even a movie about Roger Bannister, it is called "Four Minutes" it was released in 2005. It is a good movie. Haha I have even read an article in a magazine (i can't remember which one) and they were talking about if it is possible for someone to someday run a sub 3 minute mile.

  2. sounds impossible...but one of my friends on my team runs like a 4:12 but hes amazing so i dont know how many people can but that would be sweet

  3. Lol, I can barely beat 6.

  4. no thanks! i'm workin on the 5, haha. but i hope in a few years to be in sub 4:30. not amazing i know but it's good enough for me.

  5. Yes sir, the world record of the mile is 3:43.0, and it's done by the Moroccan runner Hicham El Guerrouj in Rome Italy 1999 I think. Go online and look for it and you will see the video, good luck, I never run the mile, but I run the 1500m in 3:51.0

  6. I could do it with a 10-speed bike, but I wouldn't do it on foot.  I'm way too out of shape.
