  1. I would not pay to see the fight at all. I would only watch it, if someone else orders the fight. Then I'd be the freeloader by crashing over to that person's house to watch for free.

  2. i would watch it, but not pay for it!

  3. This is why boxing is going downhill fast.  People are willing to spend big bucks to watch two washed up fighters maul each other for 12 rounds while young guys with talent and heart can't even make enough money to train for another month.

  4. Riddick Bowe has announced (on our Thursday night broadcast) that he wants the winner of this Tyson-Holyfield III matchup. . . . .so, yeah. . . I'd pay.  I'd split it up with my buddies like we always do. . . . 10 bucks each + six pack each = a good time had by all.

And the beating that Tyson will get THIS time by Holyfield will make their first fight look feel a backrub.

  5. Not a chance. I would watch, but I wouldn't pay for it.

  6. Anyone who watches it will pay, believe me.  Whether you buy it or watch it for free on someone else's tab, you will pay if you watch it.  In sincerely hope it never happens, I don't want to believe heavyweight boxing has reached the point where something like that can be accepted.  At any price, the price is too high.

  7. I'd watch it but I wouldn't pay $50 on ppv. Holyfield has kept active and his last fight was a points loss to Sultan Ibragimov in October 2007, when he was fighting for Ibragimov's WBO title. Tyson's last fight was in 2005 when he quit on his stool against Kevin McBride. The fight before tht he was KO'd by Danny Williams. He's had three fights and one win since the Lewis fight in 2002. Seems he's been fighting once every year or 18 months when he's been desperate for money. Guess he must be desperate for money again and he's willing to take another loss to Holyfield to get it.

  8. Maybe if they got to use they're walkers as weapons!  I can see it now "THE GERATOL BRAWL TO SETTLE IT ALL!!!"

  9. Absolutely NOT. If it's on HBO or another pay channel that is already on my cable service, then I would watch it. But I'll spend no extra $$ on Tyson. I don't think it would be much of a fight. Holyfield has slipped a lot, but not as much as Tyson. Holyfield is still active and has a ton more heart than Tyson ever had!

  10. Wow i guess i'm alone on this one, yes i would pay to watch them fight not on PPV though, only live in person and i'd be willing to pay maybe $75-$100 this is mostly due to the fact that i was never able to see Tyson fight live, i've seen lots of great fighters but Tyson is one i havent seen and so is De La Hoya but i'll be seeing him May 3rd out here in L.A. i got my tickets for that already so that leaves Tyson as one of the few fighters i gotta watch, i do realize that he's way over the hill as far as boxing goes but hey at least i'll be able to say i got to see hime in live action right.

  11. Nah....Holyfield is still competitive but Tyson...lets face it, is waaay over the hill now, a mere shadow of the legend he once was, he would just take a beating

  12. Yes i would. If i came on ppv on tv i would spend no more than $40. If i could see it in person i would pay no more than $25 for a seat. I think it would be a great fight but i think if tyson has drugs in his system he would loose.

  13. Perhaps, but only if this match would have taken place about 12 years ago. Tyson has massively gained alot of fat and Holyfield should retire before he has long term braqin damage. Sorry to say, it will never happen

  14. No way!  Who'd be the undercard, George Foreman vs. Larry Holmes?

Even though there's too much money to be made, I wish some big prize fights, like a Tyson-Holyfield III, would make it to regular television instead of pay per view.  It's pretty hard to justify spending $50 on a fight, no matter who's in the ring.  Maybe greed is why boxing isn't as popular as it used to be.

At least the Superbowl is still free right friend?

  15. any true boxing fan will because their style calls for another great fight and it may be the most interesting fight in the heavyweight division even though they're both past their prime it can be  a good fight if tyson was to get some nice tune up fight against some guys closer to his size. his trainers in the past for some reason had him facing guys 5 or more inches taller than he and out weighed him by 20 or more lbs. i think if he fought guys under 240 he may still be an exciting fighter
