I highly recommend Angieslist.com.  I work for a garage door company and we have seen an increase in business since using it.  (Only if your employees do a good job though)

We are the biggest company in our area and had seen a huge slow down, but this site has helped increase business.

Advertising via social networking sites is catching on in a big way.  If you do it right, the cost is nothing, time limited, and return very good.
