I am looking forward to hearing the news at 12:01, i think Wenger will definitely buy someone even though yesterday after the match he said he would buy someone if they were available. He doesn't give much away but I think we could be in for a surprise. Looking back at the newcastle game we need a Flamini type player to cover fabregas as i don't trust Eboue and Denilson.

I am not an Arsenal fan and i may be missing something here but do Arsenal really need Alonso ? to replace who ? i rate Alonso as average at best and Arsenal should be aiming higher than his standard.
