Would birth control help me gain weight?

I am 16, 99 pounds, 5'5". I can't gain weight no matter how hard I try and I have no appetite. I heard that birth control makes some people gain weight, so should I try that?

It could, just exercise a little more!

It could - depends on the type you take, but your doctor (who will have to prescribe it to you) should be familiar with the brands and their side effects. Another option, if you haven't already pursued it, would be to contact a nutritionist to have a specialized diet to help you gain weight.
