Would black hair suit me? 10 points for best answer?

I have redy brown hair at the mo with blond flashes through it and just below the shoulder length hair, dark brown eyes and fair skin, would i look too washed out in the face? i dont want to end up looking like a goth, I was thinking black hair with bright red flashes or blue flashes through it,

I think your best bet would be to go to a hairdressers and take the coloured hair samples and play around with them..

I would imagine the black with red would look lovely. I myself am pale and had black hair and I looked ok, just so long as you keep it a decent length and dont have a square cut fringe as this will cut out some of your face.

If you have fair skin and brown eyes, black hair would look bad in my opinion.  Do a dark brown with auburn highlight, that would look stellar.

the first thing i thought of when you said dark eyes and fair skin was goth, so i would have to say no. you could always get black lowlights or something along those lines. that would look really awesome having reddish brown hair and black streaks? i would probably not keep the blonde though. up to you.

It really depends on how you look, your eyebrow color, specific skin tone and everything.You could try a semi-permanent blue/black and see if you like it, and if you don't it'll wash out. Good luck!

if you get streaks through it, you may end up looking gothic.  if i were you, i'd just dye all of your hair black, and style it to make it look really cute.  you could use diamond hair clips and things like that.  and also use good hair products from paul mitchell and matrix to keep your hair looking shiny and smooth.

I think a dark brown with flashes thorugh it would look good because black hair lightens your complexion and you said you didn't want to look goth so I would just go with a really dark brown and the blue flashes thorugh it.

get black hair with blue flashes it will look really nice if u still have doubts go 2 the hairdressers and ask for there advice

the second ones quite funky if u like that sort of look but if u wanna play it safe then do it like the first 1 but personally i like the second 1

a picture would definitely have helped but you can try doing the bottom half black  and the top half dark brown or something .

According to your description, yes, definitely black would suit you very well. If you don't believe, then do, for black is an ordinary colour and suits to all skin colours. I reckon no other colour is near to it beauty wise. So go black with your hair.

If you don't want to end up looking like a goth then I would recommend that you shouldn't have the bright red or blue flashes through it. I think instead of going the whole hog and dying it black, try dark brown first to see if you really suit it and don't look to washed out. Then if you think it looks okay, you could dye it black, maybe have red highlights in, instead of flashes/streaks of red.

If you had colours through it like red, blue or even like a baby pink i think it would look really nice, i have blue eyes and i am really fair, just dyed my hair a really dark brown, and its got a hint of red in it!!

it will be fantastic. my hair is a really dark blond naturally, but i have it dyed black!

My m8s love it when im blond and when its black. i am really pale though i only look 'washed out' before i put my make up on lol

those colours will break the black up aswell. i would go for blue flashes or even purple.

dont dye ur hair all black

becasue in the sun it would look kinda like dark blue

maybe get a hazel chestnut color and then dye it with red highlights like my hair

black will be harsh for you especially because it can look so flat and one dimensional sometimes... you should go for a dark brown
