I'm 13, and I'm VERY into acting. I also have braces, would braces give you a less chance of getting chosen for a role? Or does it kind of depend on what role it is? Like if i auditioned for a geeky girl, or someone like that, braces really wouldnt matter. But if it was a popular girl, they probably wouldnt want someone with braces. Would they?

  1. sometimes. for example, in a play or film that happened in th 16th century, you would not get a part because they didnt have braces then.

  2. Since you're only thirteen, I doubt it matters, unless you're planning on wearing them for ten more years.

  3. you could get the invisible braces, or get clear bands.  One of my friends and bright green braces in when she played Lottie in A Little Princess.  Clear or Invisible would be the best option.

  4. well i have braces to. but sometimes they might say that you have to take the braces off. so if they say that you would need to get invisalign .

  5. you shoudl do some classes!participate in plays! build up your resume! get an agent! do auditions! get headshots!
