Would caffeine pills test positive in NCAA drug testing?

I use them for running and I play a division 1 sport...it says caffeine is banned but if its 15 micrograms or higher in your urine

yes, if they say it is banned then they test for it which means it will show up. luckily, caffeine doesnt last in the system very long so just dont use it within 48 hours of your test.

15 micrograms of the caffeine metabolite would be quite a bit. Most of this depends on the dosage and how long ago you took the caffeine pills. Anytime you consume caffeine, about half of it is eliminated by the 20 hour mark; so again, this is dose dependent. If you remember how much you took, and how long ago, I can give you a much better answer. :-)

If caffeine is banned, you are not allowed to consume caffeine, there for it will probably show up on a the drug test.
