Question:

Would clay increase or decrease down a soil slope? And does this effect the soil pH?

  1. Logically my guess would be that the clay would increase down a soil slope because of erosion.  I do not think it would effect the pH by much.  If the clay is alkaline base (has a lot of lime stone in it) then it may neutralize the content of the soil.
