Would colon cleanse cause pain in the left side?

I was taking colon cleanse pills for about 5 days. I have has a severe sharp pain in my left side. I have had several BMs but this pain will not go away. I am taking gas x, because I also seem to have a lot of gas.

You will have gas building up inside you,as the saying goes"where ever thy be,let thy wind flow free".

This could be diverticulitis.  Please see a doctor for antibiotics and proper diagnosis.  Don't let it go on too long or it could perforate (cause a hole) in the wall of the colon.  I say this from personal experience...no fun!  Feel better soon!

Having a lot of gas can cause pains in your side.  Try to eat some bulky foods and hopefully it will pass soon and drink plenty of water.

Gas build-up can cause pain like that. Those colon cleanse things really are not that good for you. Why were you taking them in the first place? If you are constipated on a regular basis, eat more fiber, fruits and veggies, water...

talk to your doctor they may be able to help you get your bowels back on track.
