Question:

Would completely cutting out sugar from my diet benefit me? If so, in what ways?

I'm a huge fan of sweets and especially sodas, fruit juices and ice cream and I just keep going overboard. If I cut these things out of my diet completely, in what ways would that help me? What kind of differences would I see. I'm not a big fruit fan so I really would be giving up sugar as a whole. Any advice would be appreciated.

  2. One word: yes.

But really, sugar and starches higher your insulin level. The lower your insulin level is, the easier you'll burn fat.

  3. cutting out the sugar in the candy, soda's and that stuff would benefit you a lot but if you cut out sugar completely, your body won't function right. Fruit has the natural sugars that your body needs every day. Try to eat at least some fruit every day. But don't cut out the natural sugars your body needs as a whole.
