Question:

Would doing this be enough to lose 5 pounds?

Doing 25 sit-ups,15 crunches,and 30 push-ups in the morning,afternoon and night,and eating cheerios for breakfast every morning,salad for lunch (no ranch),and a ham sandwich with lettuce for dinner every day be enough to lose 5 pounds in a month?

  1. I hope so. Sounds good. You would probably lose more then 5 pounds, especially if you jog or something. good luck.


  2. It depends on what you did before you decided that you were going to do this. (i.e. what you ate, and how much you exercised.)

    The way you're going to try to lose weight doesn't sound too healthy. You should try to add in some fruits to your diet also. Don't forget to take some vitamins to at least try to supplement what you're going to lose. Also, remember you can lose weight just by eating healthy and exercising more than before. I think that you should try to add in some kind of cardio exercise. Even if that means just walking more than before. Walking is a great way to exercise.

  3. this is a very reasonable goal...with the proper workout program and nutrition, you will be able to lose it in 1-2 weeks.

    first off...you have to eat 6 small meals per day. this helps speed up your metabolism and it helps with staying on track.

    you should add some fruit into your diet especially grapefruit and berries...nuts (almonds, peanuts...) green veggies, milk.cheese. yogurt (fat-free, 1%)

    instant oatmeal- the unsweetened and unflavoured kind is AMAZING, it tastes a little bad but if you add a bit of honey its not so bad and it keeps you full and its just amazing, this is a must.

    eat lots of lean meats, olive oil,  whole grain breads and whole grain cereals,

    Basically, eat anything natural! peanut butter is also good but with all natural peanut butter.

    exercise::

    do weights. chest. back. shoulders. biceps. triceps. abs. legs.

    you will probably gain some muscle weight because your adding muscle but since its so much leaner, you wont even be able to tell youve added anything.

    Cardio, keep it to a minimum..i would say about 20 minutes 3 times a week, maximum

    i say this because when u do cardio, your body uses glycogen, thn after about 20 minutes, it actually starts eating up muscle tissue which is no good. muscle is so important and hel ps with your metabolism and it makes you lose weight because you use more calories to keep muscle that fat. (ex. for every lb of muscle, your body burns 50 calories)
