Would going to law school really be a waste of time?

I am not sure if I can make it in the health care field

most ppl say forget law do medicine

  1. waste of time? NO

    there are a lot of unemployed law graduates but that does not mean you would be. you must realize though that competition for those really "good" jobs is exceptionally keen. most attorneys struggle to pay off education loans and work long hours for a number of years to just get by, so it is a matter of what you want to accomplish, where you want to live and work and how good you are at what you do. education is never wasted but be realistic and don't go into the profession because it looks good on TV because it is a tough way to make a living for most that is why so many graduates end up never passing the BAR and use their degree to get a start in another field.

    jobs prospects for attorneys are projected to grow MUCH SLOWER then the job market as a whole while job prospects for many medical careers(especially nursing, therapist, PAs and any position dealing with long term care and geriatrics) are projected to grow MUCH FASTER then the market as a whole.
