  1. Yeah I think if you swing a bat too much it may affect your dialed golf swing.  However your body knows to differentiate the 2 different swing and will keep them separate in muscle memory.  However like I said, not only the swinging but the 'hand-eye coordination' gets slightly distracted from the swing you want to be focused on most, the golf swing.  Good luck.

  2. Yes i do believe going to the batting cages would mess up your golf swing because i tried to play baseball and golf at the same time and i realized that my golf swing was turning to junk and it seemed like i was trying to kill every shot and i was topping about every shot so if i was you i would pick one of the two sports and stick to the one sport

  3. I play hockey 6 1/2 months a year...doesn't hurt my swing much.

  4. I felt that it actually helped my golf game. I felt like i was getting through the ball better.

  5. They are really different so I say it might! Especially if you are trying to groove your golf swing right now.

  6. That's debatable.  There are several pro baseball players who are excellent golfers.  Many are pitchers, but Albert Pujols and Ken Griffey Jr., to name a couple are fairly decent golfers.  I saw an article in a golf magazine that showed similarities in the golf swing and baseball swing.  I play softball occasionally, but I bat left handed so I wouldn't have this issue.  I'm not sure if I actually would have an issue because when I practice batting right handed, I don't see a difference in my golf swing.  It probably matters on an individual basis.

  7. yeah i think it would s***w it up...but im sure if you did go you could be able to fix the golf swing very easily

  8. I played college baseball at Southwest Mississippi and was a regular golfer. Scratch player by the way. As long as you practice both swings on a regular basis, going to the batting cages can only increase your yards off the tee.

  9. i think it would cause u have 2 swing the baseball hard but in golf u would have 2 do it soft

  10. I would definately say yes.  I used to play softball and golf in the same season and I can definately say yes it will mess up your golf swing.  At first my golf swing messed up bat swing, then as soon as i started to groove my baseball swing, my golf swing went to h**l.

There are alot of similarities in the swings, but the intricacies of the golf swing are thrown away when practicing the baseball swing.  But there is a good thing you can take away from a baseball swing is that your sheer power will go through the roof (like mine did) i just couldnt control my golf ball for a while.  (on a side note, i've given up softball and taken up golf full time, i feel like its much more rewarding)
