Would having a minor in the past prevent me from joining the USMC?

Getting a minor for drinking underage.

No. You can still enlist without needing a waiver. Unless you've had 2+ minors, you would need a waiver. But you could probably still join anyway.

Possibly.. My husband just left for basics for the army and he had a dwi on his record but he worked with his recruiter and his recruiter did almost everything for him to get it taken off his record :] so my advice is work with your recruiter; he should tell you what to do. But i guarantee it wouldnt stop you from join gin and doing what you want to do. Good Luck.
