ok guys i have a serious problem i tried joining the navy and i have my physical coming up soon problem is i did lie and say i di not have asthma i mean i did not think it was a big deal buts when i work out i do need my inhaler i just found out that having any kind of asthma pass the age of 13 is instant disqualification for the navy or any kind of military branch my recruiters all told me that if i lie i will be able to get in and i wont get in trouble but everyone else is telling me what i have done is a crime and if i do get into the navy and have an asthma attack or something that my medical records will be pulled up they will find out and i will be kicked out and maybe end up in a federal prison is this true because if it is i am going to cancel my physical and leave the navy alone i really want to go and my reqruites say i wont get in trouble but maybe they are just saying so to get me to join

  1. ok how can they go through one's medical records?  They need consent from you, right?  I won't give consent.  The only thing they have to review is the doctor's physical at meps.
