Would he live?

i found an american tree frog on my front door. i put it in a jar to observe. i am realy interested in them and want to learn more. i know what they eat but it is the middle of the night. should i let him go or is there something i could feed him other then insects to keep him a little while longer without killing him?

  1. A cold blooded critter like that should be able to live days or even weeks without food just make sure he has water.


  2. I Would get Him An Aquarium, With A bunch Of Plants And Water And Yeahh He Should.

  3. If it is truly an American tree frong (stripe on the head kind), it would live. If you want to keep your frog, make a little shallow watered tank, and feed the frog crickets (you can buy them I suppose), and the tank needs room for the frog to be able to jump/climb around.

    If you can't do that, let the frog go. You have seen it; now, you can pick up books and study about it.

  4. Build a large netting cage at your garden with  an open top for insect to fly in ....something like a green house for animals
