Would homemade blueberry waffles be unhealthy?

my dad is talking about making those and im not sure if it would be unhealthy or super fattening?

  1. Just eat the waffles! If you are so worried about them being unhealthy just exercise!

    Just remember, homemade is always better than store bought  pre-packaged items!


  2. Blueberries are very good for you and high in antioxidents....  not to mention that they taste great also!!  NOT FATTENING..

  3. Anything homemade is healthier than the alternative. Feel free to have the waffles until you are satisfied. They actually sound really good...

    And you can always encourage him to use whole wheat batter mix.

  4. Relax, enjoy, appreciate the fact you are not having to cook and have a few without adding butter

    It's actually a balance between the oils in the batter and the benefits of the blueberries

    But it's fine for an occasional meal. If the blueberries are fresh, then you are getting a lot of antioxidants. Just take it easy with the butter and syrup. You'll probably want to eat a light lunch anyway after eating waffles.
