  1. It's much more dangerous to use since it is so volatile!

  2. You can't dissolve hydrogen in gasoline.  It's a gas and would just bubble away.

  3. Ethanol is 30% less powerful than gas and is subsidized over a dollar per gallon just to make it competitive with gasoline prices. Its also responsible for pushing up the price of a major food staple, burns up small engines and can not be transported by pipeline as usual methods since alcohol mixes with water, so you have to actually load a tanker truck to get it anywhere. Very inefficient, very stupid for people to try and force this fuel into the free market.

Hydrogen is volitle ..Think the hindenburg. But a cell that's properly designed won't be explosive, only flamible. Problem is, who's going to start making hydrogen pumping stations and how will they guard against the ciminal element ? Til someone actually proves Peak Oil or makes a good excuse why we can't just use oil and gas, i wouldn't worry about it.

After all, Global warming is a hoax.

  4. It would require a major change in the combustion, tuning and efficiency of existing automobiles.  Ethanol can be merely thrown in the tank along with the gasoline at low concentrations without any immediate noticeable consequences.
