  1. You could potentially qualify for adoption. What could disqualify you is not your age or gender, though. That being said, provided you did qualify, most adoption agencies (if not all) basically get pictures and information of you, and the parents looking to give their child up for adoption choose whom they want to be the new parent. That being said, it would be tough for a young 20-something woman to compete against a married couple. But, if you want to adopt, then give it a try, see what happens.

You can also call any adoption agency for questions, I did once and got all kinds of useful info from them.

    Good luck!

  2. Ugh. I would not have let you adopt my son lets just leave it at that.

I couldnt trust you to be able to care for him the way he needs to be cared for. If i was going to let you adopt him i may as well have kept him.

  3. You can't. A single guy below 45 can't adopt a child, particularly a girl, according to the regulations of the adoptative country. It is obviously doubt the intention of the potential parent.

  4. Yes you can legally adopt at 18 in most states (the ones recognizing 18 as an adult).  If you want to adopt through the county you just go through their classes and home visits and everything and if they feel you are ready they will put you on the list.  I was 18 when i went through the classes and everything and was actually approved but my husband at the time (now ex) wasn't.
