Would i be able to afford an okay living?

hi i was wondering if id be able to afford a nice apartment or small house being a housekeeper[janitor] at a hospital during the week and having a part time job at a waiter? help me out please

yes actually my aint does similair things as you, being a waiter, exspecially... Where are you working as a waiter, get a job at cracker barrel or carraba's they ake excellent money off of tips, my aunt is a waitress and it actually great she has such a cute lil apartment, just find right places to stay and watch your money a lil.

she still goes places buys great things has a nice lil car. trust me i promise you are fine.

Yes, absolutely.  You just have to choose a home that you can afford and spend wisely.  Laozi said, "When you know how much is enough, you will be wealthy."  That's means that when you realize that contentment is the key to wealth (and not money) you will be truly wealthy.

That depends on where you're living and the cost of living in that area. If you were in Montreal where the cost of living is cheap, yes you would, though it would be better with a roommate. If you were in Toronto or Calgary or Vancouver, you MIGHT be just getting by as a boarder (renting a room in someone's house).

It pretty much depends on where you live. In some parts of the USA, you could find a decent apartment while in others (large metropolitan areas, the West Coast) it would be difficult.

The housekeeping job would probably start at a little above minimum wage. You'd want the waiter job to be at a busy, successful restaurant where you're not standing around waiting for customers; you could probably make some good tips on the weekend to supplement your income.

You would need to make at minimum $500-$600 a WEEK in order to leave decently at all.
