you could even quilfy for a home loan, the value of your loan would be baised on you wages. try to get prequalified, with a letter of credit will tell you how much. People have loans with a score of 350 However, these are sub-prime loans.

You will probably be able to get an apartment if you are 21 or older, and your income is enough to qualify for it. You might have better luck with an individual landlord rather than a management company. If you are now living at home, or have cheaper rent than the new place, choose to stay where you are, and pay down your credit bills, as moving creates additional expense.

I got a mortgage on a home with 525.  It has since very much improved, but at the time I had to get the financing that was my score....

Anything is possible.  Especially since people are now more aware of the economy and what it is doing to people's livlihood and credit.

My husband and I dont' have the best credit but we live in apartment. They checked our credit score, called our previous landlords to do a rental history check and then made us pay a month's rent up front but we are in our apartment, never been late on a payment and living happily :)

Sure.  The credit score usually determines how much of a deposit you will have to pay.  It is usually higher if your credit is not that good.  What really matters is your proof of income and that you make at least 3 times the amount of the rent.
