Would i be able to pass the PCBT exam without taking a course?

i'm planning on studying for it on my own. also i heard that it is possible for me to get a job with a pharmacy before taking the exam and they would help train me for it. is that true? i'm really interested in becoming a pharmacist tech so any information would be greatly appreciated.

It is possible, because my cousin did not take a course and passes the PCBT exam (after 2 tries). But he studied 24/7.

So im sure its possible, but its just alot of hard work.
