  1. Yes it would be gnarly but yea you could, and its good to practice in the mud because if you get fast in the mud and the toughest conditions you should be able to go just as fast or faster on regular race days which depending on where you live will happen more often

  2. most tracks keep racing in the rain....

  3. Hon, I live in the U.K. is there anything other than rain? ?

  4. That really depends on your abliltiy to ride.  Did you happen to see what happened in Dayton for supercross?  Rain + dirt = mud = bike issues.

  5. some tracks

  6. you should if at all possible.some of the best races i ever did were in the rain.it's fun, gnarly and a great equalizer of racers.have fun and don't forget the tear-offs!!!

  7. All riders of motocross should practice in all weather conditions as you never know what conditions you are going to face at an event.  Being able to stay on two wheels in the rain is just another level of being a good rider.  I have photos of my son after an event where the only way you could tell there was a person there was when he took his goggles off.

It also gives you a whole new level of things to practice as picking a bike up out of the mud when you have gone down can be very difficult as the mud makes the bike weigh heaps more.

A little bit of rain never stopped anything so just put some tear offs on your goggles and maybe an overjacket  and go ride

  8. You could but i'd bear in mind that there'd be a higher possibility of coming a cropper!

It depends how wet the surface is really, but on the whole i'd say go for it!

  9. Sure.. It has helped my son sooooooooo much riding in the mud...When we go to a track and its muddy or raining...he always wins...He spends alot of time in the winter riding on a muddy practice track...It really sharpens your skills...

  10. don't see why not, just a bit more dangerous though!
