Would i be allergic to a parakeet?

Question

I have asthma and have light allergies to dust, i am not allergic to dogs or rabbits (a light allergy to cats mostly a sneeze once or twice but then fine) my aunt has a nanday conure and i dont show allergies to him even at close range so do you think i would be allergic to its dander?

probably not because your not allergic to those other pets but it's possible

I have two budgies and I'm allergic to dust.. I just got them about 5 months ago and personally I can stand the sneezing and dusty-ness but it just depends on the type of parakeet you get. If it's a messy one and likes to pluck then you might really have a problem . Though cleaning frequently might help lessen your allergic reaction to them
