  1. Jimbob:  Go to Crucial to be certain what memory you need, Just punch in computer and model.

    http://www.crucial.com/store/drammemory....

  2. RAM is specific for each computer.

To figure out which RAM you need to buy, you can visit www.crucial.com and run their system scanner.

It will tell you what RAM you need to purchase, and allow you to purchase it immediately from their website.

  3. They do not have to be PC3200, but that might be the fastest RAM that your motherboard can handle.  To figure out what the best RAM you can use with your motherboard, go to www.crucial.com and run the RAM checker program.  This is a secure tool, and it will not download any adware, spyware, or viruses.  It will tell you what RAM you have, and what you can put into it.

  4. si, you may be able to get something better, but going with that would be a safe bet,   if you have the manual for your motherboard it will tell you what types of memory it can take.
