  1. Likely not.

  2. Something Stupid Like An Oyster Card With You Picture And Age Might Get You In So Try Using That then It Doent Matter If You Spill Somthing On It

Doubt It Will Work But You Could Try It

(Not Only With Oyster Cards Just Somthing Along Those Lines)

  3. just appear confident, look at people in their eyes when you speak to them and then they won't bother with checking your ID/age.

  4. A driver's license or other picture ID issued by a government entity is better so you don't have to risk your passport.  Photocopies or even color scans of anything are not usually acceptable because it is too easy to Photoshop them to change the picture.

If you don't have other picture ID, how about putting your passport in a zip-lock baggie and take that with you?  Only pull it out once to show the bartender or waitperson at each place and zip it back up safely.

We run into this a lot traveling internationally, and a passport is still the best way to go.

  5. not likely, my friend was refused entry because her passport had expired! i dont understand that logic! but london seems to be getting tougher on the door, especially with guys.

your best bet is to use your drivers id if your unsure about bringing your passport out

  6. touch one! It would be at the dissection of the doorman.

  7. Pubs, in London anyway, are really cracking down on underage drinking... I'm an American living in London and a few local pubs don't accept anything short of an actual passport, but many still accept my license from home... I've never tried a copy of the passport... your best bet is to carry the copy and just drink where they accept it-- because it isn't worth messing up your passport... but if there's a local pub you'll be frequenting, you may be able to talk to some of the regular staff and see if they can make special arrangements... maybe bring in your passport with a copy for them to keep behind the bar so they know you're 'legit'... I don't know how accommodating British business people usually are, but it could work if you make it clear you live nearby and want to be a regular customer without the encumbrance of carrying your passport every time.  well, best of luck!
