Yes, there will be a 6 decibel increase in output(with the same amount of power). Your bass will not be as "tight" or accurate as in sealed, but more boomy and much louder.

yea cuz instead of the air being trapped and moving wit the sub it escapes out the wholes and is a more rich sound
