FYI,  2 door cars cost more to insure than 4 doors.

It will be expensive no matter what simply based on your age.  Ins. Companies will see you as a risk because of it.  If you have payments on the car you will have to get full coverage.  If you are buying the car flat out (used for ex.) you can get liability which is much less.

The best advice is to talk to different insurance companies about your options.

Insurance for you will cost "alot" until you are 21.

But 4x4 adds even more.  03 TL and 08 Honda will be about the same.  Probably will run you $800-1000 every 6 months (with a clean record).

4x4 may be two or three hundred more every 6.
