Hi, I have All State Insurance in California, full coverage. I just got my truck a year ago, brand new, my car has been hit many times by people who slam their doors, also, I have many dents that came out of nowhere, actually on the roof. Would insurance cover this, since it wasn't collision? Is there coverage for "auto reconditioning"?

  1. Having a handful of helpful resource is always a good idea.try this one.http://car-insurance.expertips.info/car-...

  2. Since the dents did not happen at the same time--- each and every dent would be it's own claim--- subject to its own deductible.

You can not get all the dents covered as one claim.

So - if you have 3 dents on your doors and 2 on the roof--- that's 5 separate claims. Most likely each claim will be less than your deductible.

You may want to take your car to a paint less dent repair shop and see what they can do. These shops are great for door dings.

  3. It may have been covered  but each incident is separate from any other and should be reported when it happens.  The dents on the roof (vandalism, an object falling on the roof) may be covered under the comprehensive portion of your policy but door dings from other cars are covered under collision and each type of coverage is subject to any deductible you may have.  It may not be worth  pursuing
