i would be on my dad's insurance. i wouldn't get a new one; the one i'd get would probably be from the 80's or 90's.

and if it would be alot, is there another fast-looking (it doesn't have to actually be fast) that wouldn't be too expensive for insurance?

  1. You are too inexperienced to be driving a V8 mustang even if it is from the late 80's or 90's.  They are not a good first car for a first time driver. They can easily loose traction and spin you right around on hard acceleration turns and straight launches and you will be kissing a pole and very lucky to make it out without getting injured. Plus think about the winter time driving your parents will be visiting you in the hospital. Start out with a good reliable car to get the experience of driving then go for it after a few years of driving. Also another thing to remember the car has been abused and you are not going to find any v8 mustang that has not.

  2. I believe all young drivers do pay a lot on there insurance for the first couple of years and as for cars that are fast looking check out some second hand BMW's or mercedes perhaps?

  3. As much as i know, this is a question with different answers,it is really depend on yourself judgement, some great resource her for reference though.http://insurance.free-onlinetip.info/ins...

  4. I'm not sure exactly how much it will cost but when i was 17 i had a mustang and it was something around 1200 dollars.  Just so you know, since your a minor if you crash or get a moving violation (sppeding, wreckless driving... etc) your insurance will almost double.

  5. A mustang is really not a good car for a new driver. The ins. costs are determined by the age and value of the vehicle, the amounts of the coverage, and where you live. Insurance for a 'stang would be higher than a compact car of equal value.
