  1. yes they would have the same # of electrons.

    Isotopes vary in their mass , because they differ in the # of neutrons

    isptopes  of a particular element all have the same # of protons,

    like C-11, C-12, C-13 , C-14  all are #6 with 6 protons per atom

    but atoms have are neutral because they have the same # of electrons as protons...so C-11, C-12, C-13 , C-14  all are #6 with 6 protons & 6 electrons per atom
