Would it be a good idea/safe to bring my Wii on the plane?

We're going to Michigan in a few days, and I want to bring my Wii along. Would it be safe to put it in my suitcase with my clothes, or should I bring it as a carry on, or should I not bring it at all? And if I do bring it, should I wrap the Wii in something to help protect it?

Well it's not really a good idea or not! And what do you mean by 'safe'? No one's gonna get hurt 'cause you grought a Wii! Luggage isn't treated kindly in airports, so keep it as a carry on! Tell the security people you have a game console in there BEFORE the machine goes beeping like crazy! And don't hesitate when(if they even do) they ask to see it, if you do, they'll be suspicious! VERY suspicious! I wouldn't wrap it up, once again: security people get suspicious! But werever you put it, make sure it has padding! Those cubbies above the seats aren't very soft!

You definitely want to take it as a carry on.  Let them know at the security checkpoint that you have a Wii in your bag.  I've had them either just tell me to put it through the X-ray machine or have had them ask me to take it out of the bag and put it in a bin and then put it through the X-ray machine.  I use a laptop backpack with the padded compartment to put it in to carry on.  I would not recommend putting it in your checked baggage if you ever want to see it again.

Lugage gets tossed around really hard, so you don't want it with your clothes at all. If your going to take it, take it as a carry on, I think you can take it. Wrap it safely. It doesn't really matter, as long as if it moves around in the over apartment it won't get crushed. If you want to make sure you don't damage it then just don't take it along.

I dont think that you should leave it with all the othor bags. trust me I travel a lot and i break a lot in there. If you really have to bring it bring it carry on.
