Would it be a good idea to go to North Carolina?

Im thinking like around November or early December. Taking like a trip too the outer banks most likely Hatteras Island. If anyone who has ever been to the outer banks could give me some travel tips or what not. Thanks!

yea it would be tourist season is over when you go in november but the ocean would be cold though

the outer banks are great! my best friend lives there and i go out to see him every once in a while. i would recommend going next summer or late spring though because it gets COLD here. late spring would be the best

that would be a good time, b/c hurricane season is over in November...water would be cold but there are still a lot of things to do

We go to Ocracoke Island every Christmas and we absolutely love it!  It's a beautiful time on the Outer Banks and, since there aren't many people, it's not unusual to have the entire beach to yourself at times.  Obviously it's too cold to swim and it does get windy at times but we simply go back to the beach house and cuddle in front of a fire and watch the surf!  Go for it!
