Would it be a good idea to put fender pickups into a knockoff strat style guitar?

Fender Strat noisless pickups into a Spectrum strat style guitar. Good or bad idea???

its a good idea but y fender u need emg - zk pickups there humbuckers and work great

Do you like your sound now? too bright or dark? see what's the weakest link in your gear. personally i would rather invest in a better instrument than hot rodding a mediocre one. its hard to get the money back for such a guitar.

dude with the money of the pickups you could have put that into a strat. for me, its the feel of the neck that GREATLY seperates the quality of a strat vs a knockoff strat

of course the tone has a lot to do with it to.

buy a better guitar and then u will have great pickups and great feel= good tone and lots of possibility

Fender Strat noiseless pickups sound like c**p, thin and gutless,

a lot of strat knockoffs are better then real fenders , fender makes crappy guitars. but if you want real killer tone go with,

Reed James custom pickups . i just put a set in my custom built strat and thy are the best pickups i have ever heard, all part necks are a good cheap way to upgreade your guitar aswell
