would it still be a sin if you used witchcraft to save the life of others?

i know it says in the Bible that all scorers will burn in the fire pits of h**l. and im not going to start practicing witchcraft its just something i was wondering about.

It is. Witchcraft goes exactly against what GOD is saying, its evil. It may look innocent, but it is not. You never know what people are trying to do, like with vodoo or whatever else there is.

well technically, its kind of what your religious beliefs are.

yes: if you come from the religion where doing witchcraft is wrong all the way then yes because some people think that dying is a natural part of life and that if u use magic to save someones life, then ur undoing 'God's will' and thus, it is considered a sin

no: If you come from the religion where life is sacred and saving someones life by any means necessary by which you need to use magic then no, it is not considered a sin

I think that if you do something with the intent of a saving a life - as long as no others are hurt in the process - why should it be a sin?

Yes it is a sin, even when you are doing it for good, and the reason why is because you are not trusting in God. Ask God and if it is his will than it shall be done.
