  1. Yes, you might be very well paid for being multi-lingual in the military. Arabic speakers are especially valuable to the military.

  2. Well I dont see how it would be a disadvantage..And it will depend on your job selection..

Figure out what you wish to do and choose a job that best fits your skills..

A person with a PHD who chooses just any job will never use his PHD in his daily duties and he will not get any special treatment..

  3. Go to college get a degree join ROTC and expect to be working in intelligence as an officer.

Don't go to college join the Navy and expect to be working in intelligence as long as you can read those same languages too.

    Course the Army is good.

  4. Yes it really would. If ever you go to war with any of these countries or if they are your allies you would need to make proper communication with them. It would really help trust me.

If anyone can please help me with my question.

  5. The Army is always in dire need of Linguists...you could so definitely make a great bonus by joining as one!!

  6. Well in the Army? No what for?

Go to the Navy and be a CTI (Cryto Tech Interpretative) Navy Linguist, pass the DLAB, it should be easy for you knowing the languages.

I myself, know German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, English and I passed the DLAB with a 124. And it wasn't hard at all.

Plus seeing you know arabic, DLI (Defense Language Institute) would be easy for you. Plus promotion is a lot easier and faster in the Navy.

The educational benefits plus the medical are better, plys in the civilian world, if you decide to go civilian you will be highly rewarded heck even go FBI or CIA if you want to be a Linguist there.

Don't go Army. But if you do any ways, Good luck!
