I go to Japanese school every Saturday. It really bugs me though. Every year I complain to my parent about being a normal kid and not go to school on Satudays. I am all ready bilingual (read, write, and speak) (cuz my mom is japanese and my dad is american) I have two more years to go ... What should I do?

  1. "just do it"

  2. Just stick with it. It'll probably look awesome on your transcript, and you'll be thankful.

  4. if that don't have an effect just do it. but if it will, u better stop giong ok.

  5. Finish it and put it on your resume. You can probably get community service hours for it and a letter of recommendation from your teacher(s).

If you do quit get the letter and hours reccorded in writing from your teacher first.

  6. if u dont like it tht much, u could. but still keep practicing the language

  7. keep goin you didnt go all this way just to quit you will thank them and bein normal is weird

  8. Stick with it. it may be h**l now, however you will thank you parents when you are about 25 and making a six figure salary.

  9. well do youhave any friends in japanese school ssee what they say and just do what you want i would stay if i have 2 years left

  10. if you are this far along, stick with it.

  11. I know you really want to quit but I would just stick it out, it would be for the best, at least of your transcripts

  12. that sounds so cool!!

keep doing it i would love to have an

    opportunity like that!

    you must be really smart!!!!!

    wow :P

  13. This would be a hard one. But some of this depends on what is your age and is this high school age or college age. I can say this, if you can possibly hang in there, even though you don't need it, it will give you a tangible grade and it can be priceless in the long run for a career. So I would say hang in there, time will pass and you will be glad you did when graduation comes and you can get an awesome job. When I was in school, I had some classes I felt the same way, but I kept telling myself, "THIS TOO, SHALL PASS" ...time will pass and it will be all up hill...I envy you and so will many others when you are getting paid an awesome wage!

  14. discuss this with your parents in a mature way.  your decision is an adult one and sounds like a good one for you.  bring up your adult points and don't act like a child.

  15. well i had to go through the 8 years of polish

and know im taking the extra 3 years of polish high school, i learned to stick with it and it is helpful for the future no matter wht language

but it does suck having to waste a perfactly good saturday

  16. you should talk to your parents and tell them how you feel. if they tell you to stick with it, listen to them. good luck! :)

  17. stick with it why waste all of that time already invested?

  18. i guess u should stick with it :)

  19. 2 YEARS ISN'T A LONG TIME OUT OF YOUR LIFE SO DO IT AND MAKE YOUR MOM AND DAD HAPPY BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE AS LONG AS YOU

  20. Nothing you can do if your parents insist that you go. Later in life you will be so smart and probably get an awesome job...I know you hate it now and it sucks but hang in there..your parents want you to have that winning edge above the rest when you grow up.

Your parents really care about you and your education, a lot of kids parents don't care or push them..you are lucky, you just don't know it yet.

  21. I want to say stay with it but if it makes you misserable you might ot to quit.
