Would it be better to eat a lot in the morning or a lot at night?

i eat a lot in the morning for breakfast and lunch and then not much the rest of the day. i know its not the healthiest route. but i just wanna know if its better than eatting a lot at night

It is best to eat more in the morning then night.  that way you have time to burn off those calories.... as opposed to sleeping on them... because your body will turn them into fat.  But really.... to mantain a healthy metabolism rate..... it is best to eat several small meals throughout the day...... eat as soon as you awake.... and then have several small healthy snacks throughout the day..... and eat dinner at least 4 hours before going to bed.  And be sure to drink plenty of water.... Water is a big factor in maintaing a healthy weight and diet.  Many times people believe they are hungry..... when they are in fact thristy.


  2. it is better to eat 5-6 small meals in a day, but it is better to eat more in the morning, because you use more energy during the day and make it a smaller amount right before bed, so that it will not turn to fat before you have a chance to use that energy and burn off those calories from the food just eaten

  3. Well I'd say you should even out all your food intakes through out the day. I mean eating 3 square meals a day. Not eating more or less of anything. But I'd say eating alot in the morning might be better...just you might get stomache aches or indigestion starting your day and with night if you do get indigestion it could sit over night and not affect you the next day...sorry I'm just rambaling here...anyways well I've heard it's never good to eat alot at night before you got to bed.

  5. They tell you to eat an average of 6 small meals a day. Gives you lots of food & you shouldn't ever have to go hungry. But it's best to eat most in the morning- thats what keeps your metabolism going. Good luck!

  6. How would one be any better than the other?  Why don't you just spread your meals out throughout the day? That's the best option.
