Would it be better to take a day trip to Florence, Italy from Venice, Italy or from Rome, Italy?

I am going to both Venice and Rome Italy and i want to take a day trip to Florence. But i am not sure which place would be closer or better to leave from. Thank you very much for your advice!

I would take a train from Rome to Florence. It is closer and on the same coast.

It would be better from Rome, especially if you are going by train. You will have more options.

how could you go to Venice for only a day?

you need to at least overnight - that is so my favorite city in all of Italy.

But the guy above is right much, much easier from Rome

i think that florence is a place that everyone have to go, but venice is very caratteristic, rome is rich of roman history and is very very popular...
