I am moving to Falmouth, Cornwall, in just over a year for the Marine University. Would it be cheaper to travel by train or plane?

    No... it's Superman.

    Yeah, we need to know where you're coming from before we can possibly answer this.

    If it's within the British isles, I would say train. Planes are very expensive, especially with fuel surcharges and landing fees.


  2. Bit more info required Superman - ie, where are you coming from? Nearest airports to Falmouth are Newquay and Plymouth so air travel could be limited depending on where you are flying from.

    There are 2 rail stations in Falmouth, town and docks which are on a branch line, the nearest main station is Truro.

    If you have time to book in advance, could get a good deal on train tickets.
