I'm double majoring in Biology and Chemistry, Pre-Med. But, I've decided that I no longer wish to attend medical school. Would it be difficult for me to find a job with just a B.S.? Any examples of jobs and salaries?

I might get my masters... ?

  1. If you can get in a bunch of pharmacy courses, you can go almost anyplace in the US or Europe. The drug companies Love people like you. Even companies like Corning Inc are into bio industries. They make stuff for DNA testing and testing for rare diseases. They NEED people with broad backgrounds and educations. Even though they are in a small city area, they will get you more education, pay good wages and are located in an area where 1 years wages will get you a house and land if you like rural locations.

  2. Yes, you can get a job. Although with just a degree and without medical, to make the bigger bucks you will need to earn higher degrees. A PhD is needed for research in these fields. Engineering in these fields pays well straight out of school, but it pretty much evens out over time compared to degrees.
