Would it be difficult to live in Dubai if I only speak English?

Definitely NO. I lived in Bahrain in 1992 and MOST all Arabs speak English. Also travelled the region and I am FEMALE and had no trouble. Dubai is a great CENTER and is very busy.

Everybody speaks English in Dubai.. or the people that you would deal with do.  I have lived here for 15 years and speak only English, and have never had a problem.

No. There are many of us called "expats" who live in communities and speak English. In addition to this, many business owners and storekeepers have accomodated to the expats and learned English.

Obviously, NO PROBLEM AT ALL.

You can communicate with most of the Arabs & Others here in UAE/Dubai in English.

Only official communications in Govt Departments using Arabic Only mode. Even many companies/govt machinery used to communicate Arabic+English in letters and other correspondences.

In spoken language, almost all knows English well, and thus you will not find any difficulty here. Few taxi drivers knows only urdu / hindi,... that's all...

I think its not difficult to live in Dubai especially if you spoke the English language.. Dubai is an open city and most of the people right there speaks English. Arab men also use English language to communicate even in their companies they are working with. There are lots of foreign people in Duabi.

NO, everything is wrote in Arabic you can find the translation of it in English even in the malls, street, companies just everywhere so nvm
