  1. Sure.  Get a bunch of flexible metal rods and weld them together.  But there's probably some minimum metal coverage needed before it's going to work correctly, so look that up before testing it.


  2. Get a house with aluminum siding (and a tin roof) and ground it.

    Also Boston Museum of Science has a lightning demonstration with a full size farady cage for the operator
